FastTrack GP runs a same-day model. Slots are limited and protected for the next patient who needs one. This policy reflects that.
Standard window
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time. Use the cancel or reschedule link in your booking confirmation email — that's the only way to change the booking yourself.
Inside the 24-hour window
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment start time are non-refundable. The slot is too close to fill with another patient.
If you ask to reschedule inside the 24-hour window, we'll move you to another same-day slot if one is available. If no same-day slot is available, the booking is forfeit.
Same-day bookings made inside 24 hours
If you book within 24 hours of the start time, the cancellation window has already closed. The booking is non-refundable from the moment of payment. This is shown to you at checkout.
Late arrivals
Please arrive (or join the video call) at the start of your slot. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may treat the appointment as a no-show and you will forfeit the fee. The GP needs the full slot to deliver safe care.
When we cancel
If we have to cancel — clinician illness, a clinical or governance reason, or a technical issue at our end — you'll get a full refund or a free reschedule, with no time limit.
Linked outputs
If your appointment is cancelled (by you or by us) before it takes place, no clinical outputs (private GP treatment, fit notes, referral letters) will have been issued and there is nothing to refund separately. Where outputs were issued at a completed appointment, the consultation fee covered them and there is no separate refund.
Refunds
Refunds are processed under our Refunds policy. They are returned to your original payment method via Stripe and typically clear in 5-10 business days.
