These terms govern your use of FastTrack GP — the same-day private GP service operated by Healthwatch Limited (Company No. 06997189), trading as FastTrack GP. By booking an appointment or using this site you agree to them.
FastTrack GP is the same-day private GP service of Mayfield Clinic. Both brands are operated by Healthwatch Limited.
Who we are
- Legal entity: Healthwatch Limited (Company No. 06997189)
- Registered office: 3rd Floor, Mayfield House, 256 Banbury Road, Oxford OX2 7DE
- Regulator: Care Quality Commission, provider ID 1-223402992
- Clinical regulator: All our doctors are registered with, and licensed by, the General Medical Council and practise in accordance with GMC Good Medical Practice (2024)
What we provide
FastTrack GP offers private GP appointments — in-clinic or by video — and related services including issuing private GP treatment, fit notes, referral letters, blood-test requests and routine vaccinations. We do not provide emergency care.
If your symptoms are severe or you think this is an emergency, call 999 or NHS 111 immediately. Do not wait for an appointment.
Booking and fees
- Fees for each appointment type are shown at the point of booking. We take payment in full at booking via Stripe.
- We may add fees for additional outputs requested during or after your consultation (for example, a referral letter, a fit note, or private GP treatment) where these aren't included in the appointment fee.
- Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Healthcare services are generally VAT-exempt.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate clinical and identity information. We may refuse or terminate the appointment, without refund, if information is materially misleading.
- For online consultations, be in the UK at the time of the consultation and in a private, well-lit setting.
- Take arranged treatment only as directed and follow safety-netting advice given by the GP.
Our right to refuse or end an appointment
A clinician may decline to issue treatment, fit note, referral or any other output if, in their professional judgement, it would not be clinically appropriate or safe. This is a matter of clinical governance and is not a basis for refund of the consultation fee, which covers the clinician's time and assessment.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or terminate service for abusive behaviour towards staff, fraudulent payment, or repeated misuse of the service.
Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
In summary:
- You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment start time, via the link in your booking confirmation email.
- Cancellations made inside the 24-hour window are non-refundable. We will move you to another same-day slot if one is available.
- Bookings made within 24 hours of the start time are non-refundable from the moment of payment.
- Arriving (or joining the video call) more than 15 minutes late is treated as a no-show and the fee is forfeit.
- If we cancel — clinician illness, a clinical or governance reason, or a technical issue at our end — you receive a full refund or a free reschedule.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment card via Stripe and typically clear in 5-10 business days.
Full detail in our Cancellation and rescheduling policy and Refunds policy. In any conflict between this summary and those policies, those policies prevail.
Ongoing medication and controlled drugs
See our Ongoing medication policy. We do not arrange controlled drugs, and we do not issue ongoing medication outside a consultation.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our total liability to you under or in connection with any single appointment is limited to the greater of (a) the fee paid for that appointment or (b) £1,000. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
